Our Story

Keith and I have been in a committed relationship going on 15 years. Yes, you read right. Our love story is one of patience and God’s divine timing. Cairos Time! We met in the halls of Miramar High a year before Keith asked me for my number after a football game. I still very much love to dance and will critique any body of work like I’m a judge on TV show, so if you are not prepared to dance at this wedding, you better think again! Get your dancing shoes and practice, your cupid shuffle, your slow wine, your whatever, now (in my city girl voice). Tangent lol, back to Keith. Y’all know Keith, don’t you dare interrupt Sunday night, Monday night, or Thursday night football, and you already know the Super Bowl and the NCAA Championship game is a national holiday for him. He takes those days off *insert slap forehead emoji* but those Lyn-burgers though… If you haven’t had one, you don’t know what you’re missing. We chefs over here! Anyway, this isn’t like the movies, we didn’t FALL in love, that implies it’s accidental when this thing right here is very much on purpose. We WALKED in love and are intentional about every step we take together. Now this sounds like just me, Aretha, writing this, but this has Keith’s stamp of approval and agreement for every word written here. We love to laugh, eat, watch movies, everything except scary movies for me. Tony Stark is the best avenger. He loves to work out, I love watching him work out. Lol, I work out too, but ehh. We just love to have a good time and chill. He’s a character, I’m a character, match made in Heaven. We are so excited for this next formal step and can’t wait for the future to unfold.
